Hard Conversation about Racial Equity in Housing and Homelessness

MDHA is kicking off another Hard Conversation Series, Who Deserves a Shot at the American Dream?

During this year’s series, we will unpack the concept of the American Dream. We will examine this often unattainable “standard” of success. Which perspectives are excluded from the narrative of the American Dream? We will discuss reimagining a future that is inclusive of the diverse experiences of our community. We will examine who is often left out when we continue to uphold the American Dream as the accepted standard.

The City of Dallas has just begun to reimagine this inclusive future with the Comprehensive Housing Policy Racial Equity Assessment. What could be next for Dallas and Collin Counties? National experts, local leaders, and economic specialists join us to discuss.

Join us (virtually) on April 12th at 2:00 PM CDT as we dive into Racial Equity in Housing and Homelessness. Registration is required: https://us06web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_XfylY1n2RiOOdZNsFzdTXA
