Our thanks to all the poets from across the United States for entering the 1st Annual Bridge Poetry Contest for the Homeless cause. We received 189 poems from 28 states. This was a good start! On behalf of the Bridge and the thoughtful caring for Homelessness, I want to thank all the poets that participated in this worthy cause. All the poems were very sincere and heartfelt.
