Thank you to the University of Houston, Penn State, TicketCity Bowl and Conference-USA for making MDHA the official charity partner of the Jan. 2 game at the Cotton Bowl! Thank you to the many fans who donated to MDHA after stopping by our ice cream giveaway table. We appreciate all your support of our work to prevent and end homelessness. More than 1,000 fans enjoyed free Blue Bell ice cream thanks to a very generous anonymous donor. Thanks to Board Chair George Ellis and volunteer Bob Wright for their help steering crowds to MDHA’s table after the game.
Thanks to everyone for a wonderful TicketCity 2012!

MDHA Embarks on Strategic Planning Process
On Saturday, March 26, approximately twenty of MDHA board members, staff, and interested stakeholders met to plan the future work of MDHA. They were led in this process by the very capable Bill Barnett, formerly of the McKenzie Consulting Group. The day was relaxed, creative and very productive in the planning for homeless services in the metropolitan Dallas area. MDHA remains grateful for the committed volunteer work of their Board of Directors and supporters.
