Our system’s shift to two separate boards, one overseeing the system and one overseeing its backbone organization, is currently being implemented. An important part of that shift is the the election of the first Continuum of Care (CoC) General Assembly Executive Council.

At the General Assembly’s first meeting under this new system governance model, CoC members elected most of the members of its first executive council:
- Dr. David Woody, The Bridge Homeless Recovery Center, Chair
- Brenda Snitzer, The Stewpot, Vice Chair
- Blake Fetterman, The Salvation Army
- Karen Hughes, Vogel Alcove
- Yolanda Jones, AIDS Services of Dallas
- Ellen Magnis, Family Gateway
- Daniel Roby, Austin Street Center
These council members will appoint one member with lived experience, and together they will serve as one the new CoC board’s standing committees, keeping the board abreast of all workgroup progress.
